Nice footage there John, especially the last few seconds. I would love to see a still capture from that sequence. It's no wonder it disappeared overnight - I counted it ate at least ten leatherjackets which would have fed an army!
We saw a Hoopoe in St Austell on Tues 19th it was truly unusual sitting on a telephone cable wire my husband and i both commented on it.Lou Chester
